WHAT IS IT?
These are non-cancerous lumps, which develop along the tendons located around your wrist. These lumps filled with jelly like fluid, are frequently called cysts, and they average around an inch in diameter. They become painful when pressing on nearby nerves.
WHAT CAUSES IT?
Synovial fluid is located around the small joints of the wrists. When this fluid leaks out from these spaces, they form ganglion cysts. No one knows the true cause for this condition to take place.
SYMPTOMS
TREATMENT
If the cyst is not causing any pain then it is recommended to leave the cyst alone, these cysts are not harmful.
